Attractions Overview
Mumbai is a long and narrow city with a long north-south depth. Under normal circumstances, it takes 1.5 hours to travel from the north to the south of downtown Mumbai. The urban area of Mumbai is divided into three parts: South Mumbai (South Mumbai), South Central Mumbai (South Central Mumbai) and North Central Mumbai, and most of the main attractions are concentrated in South Mumbai. South Mumbai is subdivided into three parts: Colaba, Fortress District and Mahalakshmi District from south to north. Unlike other Indian destinations that focus on historical sites, as a "city built from scratch", Mumbai's urban attractions are mainly divided into three categories: British colonial buildings, modern functional buildings and places of worship. The tour can be completed in about 1-3 days. In addition, there are three famous monuments outside Mumbai - the "Elephant Island Grottoes" located on the sea, and the two world cultures located near the city of Aurangabad in Maharashtra. Heritage: Ellora Caves and Ajanta Caves. If you need to visit these places, you need to arrange an additional 1-2 days of sightseeing time, and use a chartered car or train to arrive.
